Church batted first and scored 132/4 off their 20 overs, Tom Garraway 54* and George Liveing 26* being the main run scorers. In reply, Tring, despite losing regular wickets were well up with the required run rate and with 2 overs to go needed 7 runs to win with 4 wickets in hand. Coming to the last over the scores were level on 132 with Tring needing 1 run to win, a formality you would think.
However, with Tom Garraway bowling they lost their last 4 wickets with no run scored (an over that included a run out and a stumping) and with Tom bowling No 9 Sam Shearman off the last ball the ties were level with Northchurch winning on fewer wickets lost.......incredible!
Bowling figures - Harrison Holmes 2/24, Harry Chapman 3/44, Tommy Garraway 2/22 and Ollie Johnson 1/24.
